What ~ The best view, and the best place for a Strongbow in the sun.
The Longhorn Saloon is the one place in Whistler that we just have to return to. Located right at the foot of both Whistler and Blackcomb's gondolas, it is the best location and view in town. For a "saloon" the food isn't too shabby either! I have an addiction to their yam fries and cajun chicken burger. (So healthy... I know) there is nothing better than sitting on the Longhorn Saloon patio, having a Strongbow in the summer, or a Peppermint Patty in the winter. I can't remember one time that we came to Whistler and didn't go there. The service is as would be expected from such a busy place, although our server this time was quite exceptional! Go there, go there, go there! That's all I can say.
